When we launched the IDA Rise and IDA Centra back in October, we shared our commitment to building a new league of footwear for female athletes. A new league that offers more comfort, more support, and ultimately more choice. A new league of footwear that’s about way more than just footwear.

Now in 2023, we’re super excited to bring our new league of footwear to the longest-active women’s soccer league in the US; the Women’s Premier Soccer League (WPSL)

For the last 25 years, the WPSL has been championing the grassroots game across the country and providing a development pathway for female soccer players looking to continue playing beyond youth soccer.

IDA believes that soccer is a life sport and leagues like the WPSL are essential to the game. Not only do they provide pathways to the professional game, they also provide an outlet for players to compete at a high level between college soccer seasons and well after graduation.

“Having both recreational and elite opportunities for women to continue playing beyond high school is so important on the journey to continue playing for a lifetime.” – Laura Youngson, IDA Co-founder

We are SO excited to support the WPSL, its teams, and its players this season. Keep an eye out for the IDA squad at a local match!

More About the Women’s Premier Soccer League

Celebrating its 25th season of play in 2023, the Women’s Premier Soccer League is the most tenured and largest women’s soccer league in the world – with an all-time high 130 teams competing in 33 U.S. states and 73 metro areas. Team rosters feature current and former collegiate players, the nation’s top prep prospects, and international standouts. The amateur summer league produced more than 70 percent of the selections in the 2023 NWSL College Draft and WPSL alumnae represent 50 percent of the members of the United States women’s national team.
