Best rugby boots yet
Easy to order, fast delivery and fit like a glove. Never going back to other brands now.
Took a while, but glad I finally got them to try out
First attempts at getting myself boots were not good - sizing was way too small and the returns process was painful. I thought long and hard about whether to try again, but glad I did. This pair fits well and I do feel that there’s a lot less foot pain. I have some niggling ankle pain, though, so not sure if that’s down to the boots - I’ll keep going and maybe swap them occasionally to keep checking. The leather is showing signs of softening up quite quickly - it’s only a month in and they look about as old as my 2-year old Canterburys! I’m using them as a rugby referee, so not on hard ground at the moment, but I tend to use hard ground mouldies more often than studs these days.
Not convinced by the durabilty
Was curious, so purchased these. I was impressed by how comfortable these were and there was no "break in" discomfort period. My initial concern is the size of the studs which are perhaps more designed for artificial turf or football/soccer not rugby which is my sport. But on firm ground they did the job and were very comfortable. I took these boots with me to the Philippines were I was training with the Philippines 7s team for two weeks followed by a 2 day tournament and after just 3 weeks they are showing significant signs of wear with the sole beginning to separate around the toe box area. I'm aware that it was a pretty heavy 3 weeks with 2 training sessions per day however I expected more out of the boot given the price range.
