IDA Sports Announced as Official Footwear Partner of the USL Players Association

USL Super League players to receive complimentary pair of IDA’s Rise cleats

NEW YORK (April 22, 2025) — IDA Sports has been named the Official Footwear Partner of the USL Player Association for its USL Super League membership, a landmark partnership that will provide exclusive access to cleats engineered for women athletes. This marks the first-ever footwear partnership for players within the USL Players Association, with IDA outfitting all interested players with a pair of Rise Elite cleats for game day.

In addition to receiving complimentary cleats, players will play a first-hand role in further developing IDA’s products. USLPA Super League athletes will participate in research and provide feedback, embodying IDA’s mission to listen to athletes, advocate for more research in the women’s game, and ultimately give players more options when it comes to comfortable and well-fitting footwear.

Founded in 2018, IDA is the only footwear company exclusively designing women's-specific cleats based on the specific biomechanical needs of women and girls. With products available for both girl and adult players, IDA looks to eliminate the long-accepted inequity of settling on unisex cleats.
